The overall lumber market is in somewhat of a state of disappointment with unmet
expectations of higher demand and prices that the spring season typically bring. File demands at the mill level aren’t completely dwindling but haven’t bloomed yet either.
If the lumber market were a spring field of tulips, we’d see a glimpse of sprouts to come but no full bloom yet. We anxiously wait in anticipation for the tulip fields to be in full bloom and the lumber market to spring forward.
